This beautiful little gong is 13 inch (33cm) in diameter.
It is made from brass and has been forged by hand by me, Jesse Blauwhof, in the Netherlands.
 
The rich and clear sound coming from this gong is a great way to start your collection of instruments, or add it as a compliment to your ensemble.
 
 Its compact size makes it great to take along with you, whether this is for sound therapy, a meditation session or yoga, it can easily come along!
 
Engraved on the back of this gong are the old norse runes for - A – HEIL. The A stands for Andromeda, and Heil is both a greeting and a declaration of wholeness, of unity.
 
This gong was made by witnessing and connecting to the energy of that galaxy neighbouring that of ours, the Milky Way. It is a very subtle energy, much finer than we are generally used to.
 
What it does with us as human beings is that it works on our subtle bodies and helps them become more refined, more mobile. This has as an effect that it helps us to be more receptive, empathetic, and more emotionally stable.
 
You can ask the gong to help you in these processes. It is like standing in a fine, clarifying mist, cool and expansive like the morning dawn.
 
This gong comes with its own mallet, so you can start playing it right away!
