These mallets have been named Akarn, old Norse for acorn.
 
The small mallet is suited for medium-large singing bowls, bell sets and bringing out accents from larger gongs (24" and larger).
The medium mallet is suited to be the main mallet for hand gongs (16 - 20"). It can also be used for larger gongs (24" and up) and large singing bowls.
The, heavy, large mallet is suited to be used for larger gongs (24" and up).
